Gone Walkabout

Thought I’d give this tumblr thingy a try. I woke up today around 2 in the afternoon (after the new year’s celebration that lasted until 6 AM capped off by another unnecessary family drama) and I wanted to go swimming in the pool with the 3 retrievers. Unfortunately, the entire planet shot up so much shit in the atmosphere with all the fireworks, the sun was hardly in sight. It was a cloudy and relatively cool day in the tropics. Not a great time to swim, but it is an apt time to think about what 2010 holds. There is a great adventure brewing just over the horizon. The kind of adventure that takes everything you know and chucks it out the window. Scary and exciting at the same time…
